About The Position

The Project Delivery Lead will support the Finance and Accounting team in initiating, planning, and executing complex change projects to ensure business requirements are tested effectively and efficiently prior to deployment into production. The Project Delivery Lead must be a self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Effective test execution skills are a focal point in delivery of excellence to our internal teams and to our customers. Truist in-office requirement is 5 days per week. Candidate must be located in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, or Wilson, NC. No remote or telecommute option.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent education and related training.
  • 2-3 years of experience on a project team, testing with financial systems.

  • Rally or Jira experience.
  • Experience working on an Agile team.
  • PMP Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee complex projects throughout the established project lifecycle including but not limited to requirements confirmation, process change documentation, creating test scenarios, test conditions and test data if applicable, load test cases into the enterprise test management tool Rally, execution of test, peer reviews, complete test documentation for sign off and transition to BAU.
  • Participate in the assessment of the upstream system changes that impact Accounting and Reconcilement.
  • Coordinate process workflow for intake documentation of potential testing initiatives to verify downstream impact and specific testing needs.
  • Liaise with other teams to identify dependencies and support risk and issue management across workstreams.
  • Facilitate meetings and/or working sessions with stakeholders to validate testing needs and downstream impact.
  • Execute test scenarios and cases utilizing a variety of finance and accounting systems developed by the project lead and senior analyst for projects with a variety of complexity.
  • Record, manage and drive resolution of pertinent issues, escalating to the Implementation Manager and Senior Analyst where necessary.
  • Obtain stakeholder sign-off for production deployment following successful test execution, data validation, and issue resolution.
  • Identify risks and issues and escalate to test management team timely. Assist the test manager and senior test analyst to mitigate the risks and addressing the issues.
