Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of Accounting, Finance, Financial Systems, Reporting, Audit, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Power BI, reporting tools, or financial systems preferred.
• Insurance industry internship or work experience preferred.
• Exposure to insurance systems, including Guidewire, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the validation of system-generated financial reports used in daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Develop an understanding of reporting logic, accounting impacts, and financial system functionality through testing, issue research, and collaboration with senior team members.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing of financial reports in support of system releases, state expansions, new product launches, and remediation of reporting issues.
• Support testing and analysis activities related to system enhancements and business process changes that may affect financial reporting and related controls.
• Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test results, issue logs, and supporting evidence.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to document reporting requirements, support testing activities, and provide feedback on report enhancements.
• Partner with Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, Business Intelligence, and operational teams to research, document, and escalate reporting discrepancies.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve testing procedures, documentation, and reporting processes.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and strategic initiatives related to financial systems and reporting, as assigned.
