This role involves owning the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operations for the company’s financial systems platform, with a primary focus on aligning systems to finance strategy, controls, and business process outcomes. The owner will partner with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to identify process improvements and prioritize system changes that enhance month-end close, reconciliations, and data accuracy. They will act as a liaison between Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to prioritize enhancements, manage releases, and resolve production issues. Key responsibilities include leading requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities for system enhancements and integrations. The position also requires coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and managed services for releases, change management, training, and adoption. Continuous improvement, automation, monitoring platform performance, and incident management are also part of the role, along with developing and maintaining documentation, runbooks, and training materials, and mentoring technical and functional teams.
