About The Position

SailPoint is seeking talented University students to fill positions within our IT organization. If you are eager to be part of an IT financial systems team, passionate about innovating within financial systems and delivering value to the company, then consider joining us. As an IT Accounting and Finance Intern, you will work with tenured professionals on various accounting and financial system tasks. You will encounter a variety of challenges that will refine your problem-solving skills and you will work with a wide range of systems including NetSuite ERP and Coupa procurement. In our collaborative teams, you will often work with cross-functional team members to help support the financial health of our company. Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial operations, and IT compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, Information Security).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • An interest and aptitude for working in a corporate IT environment.
  • College students from rising Sophomores to Seniors, along with master’s level students
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. No Visa sponsor available.

Responsibilities

  • Help administer and maintain core financial systems, including NetSuite, Coupa and other integrated platforms.
  • Participate in key Finance projects and help drive AI adoption within the Finance organization.
  • Manage and resolve production support issues; implement small enhancements and configuration changes.
  • Assist with system configurations: manage fields, workflows, roles/permissions, custom rules, reports, scripts, and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, Information Security).
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving system integrations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides and support procedures.
  • Work with accounting and finance professionals, and other cross-functional teams to support business operations.
