This role is part of a significant Finance transformation at Medavie, focusing on implementing a new ERP system. The Business Analyst will work closely with internal project teams, IT, and external partners to support the design and implementation of this new enterprise platform for core finance functions. The role involves documenting future-state processes, supporting system configuration and testing, and ensuring alignment between business needs and ERP capabilities. This is a hands-on opportunity to help Finance transition to a modern platform that enhances processes and reporting across the organization, ideal for candidates with experience in ERP implementation, business systems analysis, finance transformation, and stakeholder-facing project delivery. The role also offers the chance to work closely with an experienced Business Analyst to build deep knowledge of systems and processes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis, preferably in Finance or ERP projects
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting) and procurement / purchasing workflows
  • Hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations, business requirements documentation (BRDs, user stories), process mapping, and testing / UAT
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with vendors and supporting transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment
  • Proven ability to partner with Finance teams, assess processes, and deliver practical system or workflow improvements

Responsibilities

  • Map current and future-state processes; identify opportunities to improve and streamline workflows
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to gather, document, and refine business requirements
  • Support ERP configuration, implementation activities, and integration discussions
  • Develop and execute testing scenarios (SIT/UAT); track issues and support resolution
  • Assist with data migration activities, including mapping and validation
  • Support user readiness through training and change-related activities
  • Act as a key liaison between end users, project teams, and external partners
