They are trusted financial guides, relationship builders, and the friendly faces who help members feel confident about their financial choices. As a Financial Specialist, you’ll help members manage their everyday finances, open and maintain accounts, support loan-related needs, and discover products and services that fit their goals—all while delivering an exceptional experience every time they visit.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in banking, finance, customer service, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to guide members through financial conversations and recommend solutions that meet their needs.
- Comfortable using computers, email, and office software.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to members and create a welcoming, professional branch experience.
- Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, account openings, and other financial transactions.
- Guide members through account and loan processes with clarity, accuracy, and care.
- Recommend products and services that support members’ financial needs and goals.
- Answer member questions and help resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships that encourage member loyalty and trust.
- Maintain compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulations.
