About The Position

Under the supervision of the Clinic Director, the Financial Specialist will conduct verification of financial documents and obtain NTBHA financial approval if necessary. This role also involves completing verification of insurance eligibility upon intake and routinely thereafter. The specialist will obtain consents, request for records, scan documents in the Electronic Health Record, set appointments, generate monthly reports, and provide back-up support for Admin and other clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be highly organized with multi-tasking skills and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost care.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and orally with a diverse population of clientele, as well as with other service providers.
• Must be able to establish and maintain a professional rapport with internal/external pharmacies, clientele, family members and other service providers.
• Must have working computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must have personal automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas.
