About The Position

INOVA Federal Credit Union is seeking a relationship-focused, motivated, and member-driven Financial Solutions Specialist to join our Branch Operations team at our Granger Branch location. This position is an excellent opportunity for a financial services professional or recent college graduate looking to build a rewarding career in banking, lending, and member relationship management. The Financial Solutions Specialist plays an important role in improving the financial well-being of our members by providing personalized service, understanding member needs, and recommending financial solutions that support their goals. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Financial Services, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant financial services experience will be considered.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, lending, account services, retail banking, sales, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with consumer lending, account opening, or financial products is a plus.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Positive attitude and passion for helping members achieve financial success.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public certification, if required.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective members by providing exceptional service and personalized financial guidance.
• Identify member needs and recommend products and services that support their short- and long-term financial goals.
• Open and service checking, savings, money market, IRA, HSA, and business accounts.
• Assist members with consumer loan applications, credit cards, and other lending solutions.
• Conduct loan closings and explain loan terms, documentation, and requirements.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier’s checks, and other account services.
• Educate members on digital banking, mobile banking, debit cards, online banking services, and other available tools.
• Assist members with account maintenance, problem resolution, and service-related requests.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through financial education and appropriate product recommendations.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while following all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support branch operations and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
