Reporting to the Digital Transformation and Implementations Manager, the Financial Solutions Architect is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support scalable, efficient financial ERP and financial reporting applications to replace legacy systems, streamline financial operations, and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent post-secondary accounting diploma or accounting certificate required
  • CPA designation (including CA, CGA, CMA) or enrollment in the CPA program required
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement structure
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including, but not limited to, general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and budgeting
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, including, but not limited to, pivot tables, pivot charts, power query, xlookup, index/match, nested if/ifs statements
  • Expert-level knowledge of data manipulation and cleansing techniques for large datasets
  • Proficient with other Microsoft applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with implementing financial ERP and/or financial reporting applications considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Implement, and support OneStream for corporate performance management
  • Implement, and support Vivid Reports for financial reporting for multiple business units
  • Support the migration from Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365 Business Central for multiple business units
  • Design, implement, and support Business Central solutions aligned with organizational goals and financial processes
  • Assist the business analyst in gathering information requirements from stakeholders and translating them into functional and technical specifications
  • Design data integrations for existing systems and third-party applications
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Provide ongoing support of existing systems and new applications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation strategies
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
