About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role is an entry-level position focused on obtaining necessary securities industry licenses and developing foundational advisory skills. The program includes dedicated training for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensing, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial situations, and provide advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where clients are managed and relationships are deepened. The Academy provides ongoing support, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system, which is a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) within 30 days of hire.
  • Obtain Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or 63 & 65) within 120 days of hire.
  • Acquire, build, and manage client relationships.
  • Assess client's complex financial picture and guide them with advice and solutions.
  • Humanize financial interactions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice.
  • Deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients (in Stage II).
