About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses and building foundational skills to become a financial advisor. The program includes dedicated training for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensure, you will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess complex financial situations, and provide advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. The role begins in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions, and progresses through stages of development. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II role, with further opportunities for advancement within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides ongoing support through dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration in the federal registry system. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.   • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
