About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America focuses on developing the skills needed to become a successful financial advisor. The journey begins with obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams, with dedicated training and study time provided. Upon licensing, the role involves learning to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, understand complex financial situations, and provide guidance and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. The position emphasizes humanizing financial interactions. After reaching key milestones, the FSA I will work in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions and providing client care. The role includes a structured development path, with progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where advisors grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio. The Academy at Bank of America offers ongoing support through dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential mortgage loan originations, requiring federal registry system registration and background checks. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination. Bank of America is committed to an in-office culture with specific attendance requirements and flexibility based on role.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience
