About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) Stage I role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on building a career in financial advising. The program includes comprehensive training to obtain necessary securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) and learn foundational advisory skills. Upon licensing, you will work in a financial center, providing core banking and investment solutions, and guiding clients to achieve their financial goals. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to promotion to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, with further opportunities for advancement within Bank of America and Merrill. The role emphasizes a consultative approach, client relationship management, and collaboration with banking and investment partners. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including a background check and registration process, which is a condition of employment.

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within specified timeframes.
  • Learn and apply foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
  • Assess clients' financial pictures and provide advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Humanize financial interactions and deliver core banking and investment solutions.
  • Work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s approach to client care.
  • Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients as a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with appropriate solutions.
  • Build a network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
