About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) Stage I role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary securities industry licenses and building foundational advisory skills. Upon obtaining licenses such as SIE, Series 7, and Series 66, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial needs, and provide tailored advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions, with opportunities for progression to FSA Stage II and further advancement within Bank of America and Merrill. This position requires registration with the federal registry system under the SAFE Act, involving a background check and registration process, and failure to maintain this registration may result in termination. Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background check and registration process.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain SAFE Act registration.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses.

  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice.
  • Deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
