About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is seeking motivated individuals for its Advisor Development Program, specifically for the Financial Solutions Advisor Trainee role in the centralized segment. This program is designed to guide you through obtaining necessary securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) and developing the foundational skills required to become a successful financial advisor. You will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess complex financial situations, and provide tailored advice and solutions. The role involves phone-based client interaction, identifying client needs, and aligning Merrill and Bank of America products and services. The program offers a defined path for development, with opportunities to work with affluent and high-net-worth clients, and progress to a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) role. The Academy provides dedicated programs, tools, and resources, including world-class training, on-boarding, and one-on-one coaching from managers invested in your success. You will learn a consultative approach to identify client needs and solutions, and build your network by interacting with banking customers and clients. The role emphasizes providing end-to-end comprehensive advice, delivering client reviews, and collaborating with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with a full suite of financial solutions.

  • Obtain SIE within 60 days of hire.
  • Obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background check and registration process.
