About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is seeking a motivated individual to join their Advisor Development Program as a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I). This role is designed to train individuals to become successful Financial Advisors. The program includes obtaining necessary securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) with dedicated study time. Upon licensing, you will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, financial planning, and providing advice to help clients achieve their financial goals. The role involves humanizing financial interactions and delivering Bank of America's core banking and investment solutions. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to progression as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA), where you will build a portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients, with the ultimate goal of becoming a core Merrill Financial Advisor. The Academy provides ongoing support through dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including a background check and registration process.

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Experience assessing client needs, identifying/recommending solutions, and building/managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses.
  • Learn and apply foundational skills for client relationship management.
  • Acquire, build, and manage client relationships.
  • Assess client's complex financial picture and provide guidance and solutions.
  • Deliver Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and client care.
  • Build a new portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients (in later stages).
  • Register and maintain good standing with the federal registry system as required by the SAFE Act.
