About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is seeking motivated individuals for their Advisor Development Program as a Financial Solutions Advisor Trainee. This program is designed to guide you through obtaining your Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) with dedicated training and support. Upon licensing, you will learn the foundational skills of a financial advisor, focusing on client relationship management, understanding complex financial needs, and providing tailored advice. The role involves phone-based client interaction, identifying investment and savings solutions, and aligning Merrill and Bank of America products. You will work with affluent and high-net-worth clients, develop relationships, review goals, and prepare recommendations. Successful trainees will progress to a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor role. The program offers comprehensive training, one-on-one coaching, and resources to build a successful career in wealth management. You will gain experience interacting with various client types, leveraging Bank of America's extensive customer base, and providing end-to-end financial advice. The role emphasizes responsible growth, community support, diversity, and client-first principles.

Requirements

  • Must obtain SIE within 60 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
  • Displays confidence working in a sales role.
  • Builds strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Displays a proactive mindset and effective time management.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset and prioritizes client interests.
  • Identifies appropriate client solutions through application of learnings and new information.
  • Applies relevant regulatory due diligence in daily activities and creating long-term client strategies.
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background check and registration process.
