About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Registration Candidate role at Bank of America is a developmental position designed to train individuals to become licensed financial advisors. The program includes obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated training and study time. Upon licensure, candidates will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing advice and solutions. The role progresses through stages, starting in a financial center, then potentially moving to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II to grow and deepen client relationships. The program is supported by The Academy with dedicated resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential mortgage originations, including background checks and registration, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) within 30 days of hire.
  • Obtain Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within 120 days of hire.
  • Learn and apply foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
  • Assess client's financial picture and provide advice and solutions.
  • Humanize financial interactions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions in a financial center.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
