About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary securities industry licenses and building foundational advisory skills. Upon obtaining licenses such as SIE, Series 7, and Series 66, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial needs, and provide tailored advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions, with a clear progression path to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II. The program includes comprehensive training, coaching, and resources to support career growth within Bank of America and Merrill. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system, which is a condition of employment.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within specified timeframes.
  • Acquire, build, and manage client relationships.
  • Assess client's complex financial picture and guide them with advice and solutions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Register with the federal registry system as required by the SAFE Act.
