At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the employee learns foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding clients’ financial circumstances, and providing advice and solutions. Once key milestones are reached, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver the bank’s core banking and investment solutions and client care. The Academy provides training, tools, and resources throughout this development process. After demonstrating success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, the employee will typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, continuing to grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio. Successful Stage II advisors may have opportunities to advance to other roles within Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination. The position is in-office, with attendance requirements and role-specific flexibility. It is open across the market; the specific financial center will depend on business needs. The employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, where permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, first shift, 40 hours per week. Compensation is a base hourly pay range of $28.85 to $33.65, determined by experience, education, and skill set; the role is not incentive eligible. The role is benefits eligible.
