As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), the journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) through dedicated classes. Upon licensure, the role involves learning foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. Once key milestones are met, the FSA I will work in a financial center, delivering Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. Successful FSA I candidates typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue to grow and deepen client relationships. The Academy provides dedicated programs, tools, and resources for career development. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination. The specific financial center location will be based on business needs, potentially starting in a phone-based capacity before moving to a physical location within a reasonable commuting distance.

Requirements

  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • Required to register and submit to the SAFE Act background check and registration process.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire, build, and manage client relationships.
  • Consider clients' complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions.
  • Humanize financial interactions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions and approach to client care.
  • Grow business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
  • Build a professional network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
  • Leverage company relationships to help grow the business.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice.
  • Deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to the solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing as per SAFE Act requirements.
