About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on building a successful career in financial advising. The program includes comprehensive training and support to obtain necessary Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66). Upon licensing, you will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing advice and solutions. The role progresses through stages, starting in a financial center, with opportunities to advance to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II and beyond within Bank of America and Merrill. The program emphasizes a consultative approach to client needs and aims to equip individuals with the skills to help clients achieve their financial goals. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • 63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66.

  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Cultivate client relationships, access needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Create strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
