About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams (Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, assessing clients’ financial circumstances, and providing advice and solutions. At key development milestones, the advisor begins working in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions and Bank of America’s approach to client care. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio and may pursue further opportunities at Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination.
