About The Position
We are looking for a Part-Time Financial Services Specialist to join our Branch team in Rockland. In this role, you'll help customers with their day-to-day banking needs while building relationships and connecting them with products and services that support their financial goals. The anticipated hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Previous customer service or retail experience and a passion for helping others.
- A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and solve problems effectively.
- Up to a week of in-person training, which requires travel to Machias, is mandatory within the first 30 days for onboarding in this role. Additionally, future training sessions may necessitate travel if retraining is required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Build new relationships and deepen existing customer relationships through meaningful conversations and product referrals.
- Support branch growth by identifying customer needs and referring mortgage, home equity, and other banking opportunities to the appropriate team members.
