About The Position

A Financial Services Representative (FSR) supports sales and service delivery in a bank branch. The role builds and expands banking relationships through proactive customer outreach and service requests. It is responsible for opening deposit accounts, providing related banking services and lending (including consumer real-estate-secured lending), and identifying and referring sales opportunities to appropriate bank partners. A successful candidate is a disciplined self-starter who can manage daily calling activity, confidently engage customers, build trust, learn new information and technology, work collaboratively across teams, build rapport with different personalities, and move quickly through problem resolution. The FSR is expected to achieve assigned individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship goals; conduct outreach to customers, prospects, and referral sources; and, when appropriate, represent the Bank at civic and community events to generate business and identify potential CRA opportunities. Sales practices should create value for customers and the Bank, with appropriate planning and partnering to provide relevant financial guidance. The representative listens to customers, identifies needs and opportunities, addresses immediate needs promptly, seeks coaching, supports Bank initiatives, and uses tools to improve performance. The position also requires compliance with regulations, Bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities; timely completion of required training; and assigned office-management duties. Associates responsible for taking deposits are accountable for transaction accuracy and operational efficiency. Performance may be assessed individually and as part of a team.
