This role is responsible for building member relationships, providing excellent service, and achieving branch goals. The incumbent will promote positive relationships with members, offer solutions to their financial needs, and uphold the organization's core values. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience in a sales/service role within the financial services industry or other retail businesses.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of how financial markets impact the financial services industry.
  • Ability to represent Credit Union products and operations effectively.
  • Minimal travel amongst branches may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Teller functions efficiently, effectively, and accurately.
  • Present and explain Credit Union membership, products, and services to members.
  • Assist members in meeting their financial needs.
  • Keep members informed of Credit Union policies, available accounts, rates, payroll deductions, and other services.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities through active listening and anticipating member needs.
  • Respond to member requests, problems, and complaints, or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Build positive relationships with other lines of business and interact with other business units.
  • Refer members to departments for specialized needs (e.g., Mortgage).
  • Refer members to designated Credit Union partners for financial counseling, investment, and insurance needs.
  • Review operational, product, and procedure manuals to become familiar with branch operations, products, services, and policies.
  • Demonstrate effective communication with internal and external business partners.
  • Volunteer for SEG sign-ups and other credit union activities.
  • Adhere to Andrews Federal policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
