Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, the Financial Services Representative I (FSR I) is responsible for creating, opening, and processing new consumer & business member accounts and cross-selling services to members. This role involves explaining the value, benefits, features, rates, and fees of products and services. Utilizing the AIDINC® process as outlined in The Member Advantage (TMA) training, the FSR I conducts high-quality interviews with members and potential members to satisfy their needs. The FSR I uses the Opening Act (OA) system to create membership, new accounts, and process deposit services in Symitar. Additionally, Opening Act is used to build and submit loan applications to Central Lending Decision Makers. If an application is immediately approved, the FSR I, under guidance, proceeds with loan disbursement. The role requires representing the credit union professionally, friendly, and courteously, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service for all transactions. Staying current with credit union membership requirements, deposit products, services, loan products, and marketing campaigns is essential.
