About The Position

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking team at CIBC, you will work in a fast-paced Banking Centre, making a meaningful difference in clients' lives. This role involves fostering key relationships with clients, understanding their financial and personal goals, and providing informative and tailored service. You will recommend appropriate products and solutions to support their financial success. The position requires flexibility to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends, and the ability to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance. This is a full-time, on-site role designed for you to thrive in your work environment.

Requirements

  • Eagerness to learn and grow knowledge.
  • Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
  • 1 year experience in working with clients and achieving sales results.
  • Fluency in French and English to support business operations outside of Quebec, Canada.
  • Adherence to CIBC values: Trust, Teamwork, and Accountability.

  • Prior banking experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan.
  • Use knowledge of cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection to help clients meet their goals.
  • Engage in marketing and outreach activities to show clients value and connect with their communities.
  • Grow your network, deepen existing relationships, and collaborate with the team to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
  • Become a technology expert and share knowledge by introducing clients to mobile banking applications to help them manage their banking needs.
