About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for 3rd to 5th year Associates with an interest in complex litigation, with an emphasis in financial services litigation. Positions are available in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and interpersonal skills, be interested in working on a collaborative, cross-office team, and have strong case management skills. Requirements

  • 3rd to 5th year Associate with an interest in complex litigation, with an emphasis in financial services litigation.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in working on a collaborative, cross-office team.
  • Strong case management skills.
  • Experience analyzing issues for, conducting research for, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues for complex litigation.
  • Experience defending financial institutions in litigation in federal or state court or arbitration.
  • Working familiarity with federal banking regulations and standards.
  • Preparation for and participation in motion argument.
  • Preparation of outlines and exhibits for depositions.
  • Case management experience, including running written discovery responses, document review and production, and working directly with clients and experts.
  • Solid academic performance.
  • Good standing with the TX State Bar.

Nice To Haves

  • Taking or defending depositions is a plus.
  • Law Review/Journal and/or Moot Court experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Admission to the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas preferred but not required.
