About The Position

The ATC Financial Services Intern supports the organization with administrative, operational, and project-based assignments related to the coordination of services and administration of trust relationships. This role is designed for individuals who are pursuing or have recently completed education, training, or coursework relevant to business, accounting, finance, trust administration, or a related field and who are interested in gaining practical experience in the trust and financial services industry. The internship provides hands-on exposure to Financial Services operations, client-service support, data management, and internal projects in a professional office setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Coursework toward, or recent completion of, a college degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interest in learning day-to-day business operations, Financial Services administration, and project coordination.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to review and interpret financial information at an introductory level.
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to satisfy applicable employment eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support Financial Services personnel with administrative, operational, and project-based assignments.
  • Assist with organizing trust account records, correspondence, and related documentation.
  • Perform data entry, spreadsheet updates, and basic information review with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with team members to obtain information needed for internal projects and service-related tasks.
  • Support special projects and research assignments as directed by supervisors.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of client, trust, and company information in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
  • Develop familiarity with Financial Services operations, products, services, and client-service processes through assigned work and supervision.
