About The Position

Accenture’s Finance Reinvention practice helps financial services organizations reinvent finance through services spanning strategy, delivery, and managed operations. Its Planning & Performance Analysis capability focuses on connected planning, AI-driven forecasting, scenario modeling, and decision intelligence for banking, insurance, and capital markets. The Financial Services Consultant, EPM will support client work to build and improve finance planning and performance capabilities. The role gathers requirements, configures models and reports, tests logic, analyzes finance data, and produces accurate, client-ready deliverables. Working under a workstream lead, the consultant helps build planning, forecasting, reporting, and agentic FP&A solutions on EPM platforms, and supports clients through testing, training, deployment, go-live, and stabilization. The role also contributes reusable practice assets and builds financial services domain knowledge through client work and structured learning. Travel may be required up to 25–50%, depending on client engagement needs.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in finance transformation, FP&A, financial analysis, or EPM implementation in a consulting, professional services, or corporate finance environment.
Bachelor’s degree.
Ability to travel up to 25–50%, commensurate with client engagement requirements.

Nice To Haves

Financial services experience in banking, insurance, or capital markets, through consulting engagements or an in-house role.
Hands-on EPM platform build or configuration experience, or a platform certification such as Anaplan Model Builder.
Experience applying AI, GenAI, automation, or advanced analytics to a finance process.
Comfort with SQL, Python, or a BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
Exposure to financial services regulatory or reporting frameworks such as DFAST, CECL, RBC for insurance, or Basel/CRR.
An advanced degree in finance, accounting, analytics, or a related field, or progress toward a CPA or CFA.
Exposure through implementation, administration, or hands-on use to at least one EPM platform: Oracle EPM Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, OneStream, or Workday Adaptive Planning.
Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, including advanced Excel and the ability to work with large or imperfect datasets.
Experience producing client-ready or executive-ready deliverables.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Build and configure planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions on leading EPM platforms under the direction of a workstream lead.
Configure and test agentic FP&A workflows, including automated scenario generation and variance commentary.
Develop driver-based planning models, scenario logic, and variance analytics for client business steering.
Work with emerging AI and EPM platform capabilities and help translate them into practical finance-function applications.
Gather and document requirements through client interviews and working sessions, translating them into functional designs and build specifications.
Profile finance source data, validate model outputs, and test results against client baselines.
Produce client-ready process documentation, design artifacts, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Support testing, training, and deployment through go-live and stabilization.
Contribute reusable templates, configuration accelerators, and internal knowledge-sharing assets.
Build financial services domain knowledge across banking, insurance, and capital markets through client work and structured learning.
