About The Position

Goldenwest Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative serving members in Utah and Idaho. Financial Service Representatives assist members and prospective members with currency transactions, new accounts, and consumer loan needs. The role focuses on building and maintaining trusted member relationships, identifying relevant credit union products and services, and providing consistent follow-up. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position at 13903 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah. The hourly rate is $15.00, based on experience and performance, plus bonus and incentives. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong ability to think critically and solve problems.
Timely and meticulous attention to verbal and written communication.
Devotion to earning and maintaining member trust.
Attentiveness to professionalism in appearance and action.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
Complete teller transactions.
Open new accounts.
Process consumer loan applications.
Pair corresponding credit union products and services with members’ financial needs.
Provide consistent member follow-up.
Comply with all regulations as required by law.
Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.
