About The Position

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Financial Service Representative II/Senior Teller to join our team of outstanding professionals at our Georgetown Financial Center in Georgetown, SC. This role provides exceptional customer service and offers financial products and services that meet the customers' needs. A typical day involves participating in morning huddles, discussing loan payoffs, processing deposits and check cashing, reviewing performance with a service leader, and balancing your drawer.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• At least one year of direct Senior Teller experience in a financial service environment
• A positive attitude
• Ability to handle cash and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking skills
• Comfortable talking to people and connecting with others
• Willingness to offer financial products and services to customers
• Consistently follow policies and procedures
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle irate customers without taking it personally
• Proactively volunteer for new challenges

Nice To Haves

• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a morning huddle brainstorming with team members about ways to meet referral goals.
• Talk with a customer about the payoff amount for their auto loan.
• Review and deposit a check into a customer's account.
• Cash a large payroll check.
• Meet with a service leader to review your current performance.
• Balance your drawer before heading home.
