About The Position

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Full-Time Financial Service Representative I to join our team of outstanding professionals at our Sam Rittenberg Financial Center in Charleston, SC. Are you passionate about helping others? Do you enjoy interacting with customers regularly and working in a team environment? As a Financial Service Representative, you will provide exceptional customer service and offer financial products and services that meet the customers' needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of cash handling experience in a customer service or banking environment.
• A positive attitude.
• Ability to handle cash and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Comfortable talking to people and building connections.
• Willingness to offer financial products and services to customers.
• Ability to consistently follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult customer interactions professionally.
• Willingness to volunteer for new challenges without being asked.
• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Offer financial products and services that meet the customers' needs.
• Participate in morning huddles to brainstorm ways to meet referral goals.
• Assist customers with loan payoffs.
• Process check deposits.
• Cash checks.
• Review current performance with a service leader.
• Balance cash drawer.
