About The Position
Lone Star Credit Union is searching for a member-focused, energetic and friendly individual for the Terrell Branch. The FSO will develop relationships, build trust, and maintain integrity with every contact, including Members, potential Members, and co-workers.
Requirements
- Minimum of six months previous experience in a consultative sales position preferably from a financial institution.
- New account and general member service experience helpful.
- Passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service
- Ability to identify financial needs through effective communication (ability to listen, ask questions, and articulate response)
- Ability to educate Members about and make referrals to LSCU products & services
- Strong initiative and solution provider
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient in utilizing PC, software, Microsoft Applications, and other office equipment
Nice To Haves
- Fluent in Spanish is helpful
Responsibilities
- Opening new accounts and performing account maintenance
- Responding to inquiries and processing Member requests
- Processing drive-thru transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers
- Owning Member issues through resolution
- Identifying Member needs and recommending product and service solutions to enhance financial well-being
