About The Position

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Financial Sales Representative to join our team of outstanding professionals at our Spartanburg Financial Center in Spartanburg, SC. As a Financial Sales Representative, you will provide exceptional customer service and offer financial products and services that meet the customers' needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • At least one year of experience working specifically in a sales position selling products and/or services with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • A positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members during the morning huddle and discuss sales goals for the day.
  • Greet and develop rapport with members who enter the financial center or call on the telephone.
  • Answer a member's question about the auto loan application process.
  • Ask a member open-ended questions about their financial goals and recommend products and services based on their needs.
  • Follow up with a member who recently opened an account.
  • Chat briefly with your manager to discuss wins, challenges and progress on sales goals.
  • Call members to share a new promotion for which they may qualify.
