About The Position

Position Profile: We are looking for an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our financial team. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of accounting, auditing and budgeting procedures and financial reporting. You will also help with periodic management reporting enhancement, process improvements and recommend ways we can improve our financial health. Previous work experience, along with a degree in Accounting and a CPA certification is required for this role. Ultimately, you will play a vital role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with the law and accuracy in accounting and financial reporting. This position reports to the Assistant Controller.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification
  • 4-6+ yrs proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)

  • Proficiency with G-Suite and Workday preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Assist in audits on all financial statements for all legal entities
  • Participate in compilation of quarterly and yearly footnotes, manage external financial statements and associated disclosure
  • Research, analyze and conclude on accounting pronouncements and technical issues.
  • Coordinate with various departments and monitor annual and quarterly deliverables for outside auditors.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports to submit to the financial management and leadership team.
  • Prepare and maintain report templates for more advanced reports, supervise all enhancement and development requests.
  • Collaborate with senior management and provide updates on financial reports, progress and modifications.
  • Assist in the production and distribution of internal financial reports, compile various cross functional reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, document accounting policies according to accounting standards and update the same on GAAP.
  • Assist management to manage databases and perform quarterly and yearly internal audits.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations
