About The Position

Callow & Associates is a growing Microsoft Dynamics and Solver partner based in Calgary, Alberta, focused on modernizing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics capabilities with cloud-based, AI-enabled solutions. They are seeking a curious, analytical, and client-focused professional who enjoys combining finance, technology, and problem-solving. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in accounting, finance, FP&A, reporting, or business systems looking to expand their expertise in financial systems consulting and analytics. The position involves working directly with clients to improve reporting capabilities by implementing and supporting Solver, ultimately helping organizations make better business decisions through data. The role offers exposure to financial systems consulting, FP&A and budgeting processes, Microsoft Dynamics environments, and client advisory, solution implementation, and support within a collaborative and rapidly growing team.

Requirements

  • Background in accounting, finance, FP&A, business systems, or a related field
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Experience creating financial reports, dashboards, or budgeting models
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment
  • Strong problem-solving ability and desire to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Solver, Vena, Prophix, Jet Reports, or similar FP&A platforms
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics or ERP systems
  • Exposure to SQL, data warehousing, or business intelligence environments
  • Experience with SSRS, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support Solver for clients across multiple industries
  • Design financial and operational reports, dashboards, and budgeting/planning models
  • Gather client requirements and translate needs into practical reporting solutions
  • Help improve budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Support user training, system adoption, and ongoing client success
  • Collaborate with senior consultants on implementation projects and solution design
