About The Position

Amwins Group Inc. is looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their Divisional Finance team. This role requires strong analytical acumen and involves partnering with the CST Finance Director and Accounting partners. The duties are highly aligned with overall divisional priorities, focusing on building the future of Client Services and enhancing support across all Divisions. This position is open to current residents of Charlotte, NC only.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and/or advanced degree, preferably with experience in accounting, finance, business, or economics.
• 0-2 years of accounting, consulting, and/or financial analysis experience.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment and work on a team.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of motivation and work ethic.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced competency with Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Detail oriented and organized. Must be comfortable working on projects that require a high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Team oriented / strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable working in dynamic and diverse teams, able to handle personalities and situations with a positive attitude.
• Ability to think independently and take action.

Nice To Haves

• In depth knowledge of Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial and operational reporting and month-end close cost allocations.
• Assist with divisional budgeting / forecasting / modeling / reporting.
• Assist with ad hoc financial and data driven analyses for CST and Amwins Leadership.
• Assist with the creation of presentations for CST and Amwins Leadership.
• Work collaboratively across teams from all Amwins Divisions to collect, compile, analyze, scrutinize, and derive insights from financial and operational data.
• Effectively communicate and synthesize data and outcomes with visual aids.
• Continuously improve and expand upon existing monthly financial / operational reporting packages.
