About The Position

The Financial Reporting Analyst reports to the Senior Manager of External Reporting and assists with the company’s external financial reporting activities and technical accounting needs. The role supports quarterly and annual SEC reporting, audit requests, report tie-outs, special projects, and process improvement initiatives. This is an onsite position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
CPA or CPA candidate.
1–3+ years of accounting experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret accounting information.
Excellent computer skills and ability to work and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Self-motivated, takes initiative to accomplish work, and takes ownership of assigned projects.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Wdesk.
Experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm is strongly preferred.
Experience in the oil field service industry is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing quarterly and annual SEC reports, including MD&A, using the Wdesk platform.
Assist with audit questions and prepare responses to audit information requests.
Prepare tie-out packages for external and internal reports.
Assist with internal and external audit requests.
Provide technical accounting assistance for special projects.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Complete other assigned tasks and ad hoc projects.
