The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and is statutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO also provides enterprise oversight and management of the State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial business process improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll and accounting shared service centers. The Statewide Accounting & Reporting (SWAR) Division is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of the state's regulatory financial reports, along with the compliance and risk management functions. Under supervision, this role will apply accounting techniques to compile, analyze and document agencies financial data. Learn to summarize and report information for financial statements and quarterly or annual reports. SWAR is a dynamic and highly successful team dedicated to the continuous improvement of financial reporting and providing value to the stakeholders of Georgia. SWAR is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst 1 to become a part of the team.
