About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules. The role involves assisting with regulatory reporting filings and disclosures while supporting the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Requirements

Financial reporting and SEC reporting experience.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
Experience with account reconciliations, financial analysis, and month-end close activities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Public accounting experience is advantageous.
3+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial reporting packages for executive leadership and business stakeholders.
Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and provide supporting commentary.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audit schedules for internal and external auditors.
Support SOX compliance activities, internal controls testing, and documentation efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting efficiency and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements.
Research technical accounting issues and document conclusions as needed.
