About The Position

The Financial Program Specialist is responsible for determining the effectiveness of the organization’s sales financing programs. This role involves determining key performance indicators, collecting and analyzing data, and auditing and reporting sales program success. The specialist will mine and model data for strategic planning, tell the story of the data by gleaning insights on successes and failures, and make tactical and strategic recommendations based on their findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • 2- 5 years of experience
  • Travel required: 0 > 20%
  • Strategic problem solving and critical thinking
  • Ability to effectively communicate, persuade and influence external and internal communication (Written/Verbal)
  • Demonstrate business acumen
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Required skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experiences in equipment finance or real estate finance is a plus
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, MS Excel, SQL are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Financial sales program budget and management and execution.
  • Responsible for reviewing and auditing lender subsidy files and program documents.
  • Assist with sales program development and management and processing of existing program documents and processing cash in lieu, rebates, spiff and others.
  • Manage all aspects of sales programs from program application collection to dealer incentive provision and program review.
  • Analyze the financial impact of sales programs and develop suggestions or recommendations to related teams.
  • Assist internal Finance and Accounting team with month end reporting on sales programs spent.
  • Find improvement areas for sales program processes and drive the process enhancement by collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Marketing, Sales, etc.).
  • Provide weekly and monthly report on program take rate as per approved budget.
  • Provide required data and material for a program council on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist in management of DEVELON Financing Portal Dashboard.
  • Providing insights on financial market trends and rates and manage lender rate cards.
  • Facilitate customer or dealer-facing IT system or Data-related Projects (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Providing insights on financial market trend.
  • Creating and maintaining data and reporting processes.
  • Providing guidance on measurement and goals for other teams across the organization.
  • Creating and monitoring reporting dashboards.
  • Collaborating with other teams to implement new systems and tracking.
  • Analyzing data and presenting trends, insights and strategic recommendations.
