Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field OR Associate degree in Accounting and ten (10) years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to meet PCHA insurance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Yardi software
- Experience in affordable housing, public sector finance, grant administration, or HUD-funded programs
Responsibilities
- Manage financial activities for assigned housing properties, grants, and programs
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to leadership
- Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and investments
- Support annual audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Perform account reconciliations and monthly close activities
- Partner with property management and operational teams to support financial success
- Assist in achieving organizational goals through strategic financial management
