Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field OR Associate degree in Accounting and ten (10) years of progressively responsible accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to meet PCHA insurance requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi software
  • Experience in affordable housing, public sector finance, grant administration, or HUD-funded programs

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial activities for assigned housing properties, grants, and programs
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and investments
  • Support annual audits and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Perform account reconciliations and monthly close activities
  • Partner with property management and operational teams to support financial success
  • Assist in achieving organizational goals through strategic financial management
