About The Position

This position reports to the Director of Finance with the primary functions as following: Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial reporting for decision support. Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting/ budget.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Intermediate level of knowledge with Microsoft PowerPoint, and basic level of knowledge with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • A good working knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and ability to make progress with projects assigned and bring them towards successful completion.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification helpful, but not required
  • Healthcare experience desirable

Responsibilities

  • Variance analysis by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Report generation on monthly qtrly basis for various internal customers
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for financial improvement, optimize resource utilization, and drive value within service lines.
  • Assist Director of Finance in Ad Hoc requests
