About The Position

This analyst provides less complex accounting, financial reporting and analysis of an organization's expenditures and initiatives. The role involves providing general financial analysis and support for the annual budget process, expense/service fee/staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting. It also supports finance transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing financial and accounting processes, reporting capabilities, data quality, and operational efficiency. The analyst will partner with various teams to understand current processes, identify improvements, and implement solutions, while also developing and maintaining relationships to resolve financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis issues. Additionally, the role requires maintaining systems/databases for budget analysis, allocations, and forecasts, and assisting with financial research projects and operational results analysis.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access.
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general financial analysis and support of an organization’s annual budget process, expense/service fee/staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives focused on improving financial and accounting processes, reporting capabilities, data quality, and operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Partner with accounting, finance, and operational teams to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and assist with implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships across functional teams to resolve financial reporting, forecasting and analysis issues.
  • Maintain various systems/databases for budget analysis, allocations and forecasts.
  • Assist in other financial research projects and analysis of operational results.
