About The Position

Coeur d’Alene area, Idaho | On-site; hybrid or remote considered for exceptional candidates | Reports to the CFO Selkirk Sport is hiring an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting and business analysis as we expand internationally and build a broader ecosystem of pickleball brands, products and experiences. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll own the financial models and reporting that guide decisions on key initiatives, acquisitions, international expansion and capital allocation. You’ll lead a small global FP&A team while staying hands-on with modeling, analysis and the quality of the team’s work. Strong finance fundamentals and hands-on AI experience are essential. You’ll build and operate AI agents and automated workflows that improve forecasting, reporting and financial quality checks, with reliable results and measurable business value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, including experience leading analysts.
  • Expert 3-statement modeling, forecasting and budgeting skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrated experience building and operating AI agents or automated workflows used in recurring business processes, with measurable results.
  • Strong technical fluency, including experience with BI, data platforms, SQL and FP&A tools.
  • The ability to explain complex financial results clearly and make a recommendation supported by analysis.
  • A record of managing multiple priorities and delivering accurate work on deadline with limited supervision.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • M&A, valuation, acquisition integration, multi-entity or international finance, consumer products, e-commerce and leading remote teams.
  • An MBA, CPA or CFA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the revenue forecast, integrated 3-statement model, monthly rolling forecasts, annual budget and scenario analysis. Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash forecast, connecting operating assumptions, inventory, headcount and working capital to profitability and cash.
  • Build financial models that help leadership evaluate strategic initiatives, compare alternatives and understand the implications for earnings, cash and resources. Make clear recommendations supported by documented assumptions and analysis.
  • Embed our principle that all spend requires justification into planning and business decisions. Establish consistent standards for evaluating proposed and recurring spend, challenge assumptions, quantify costs and expected benefits, and track whether approved spending delivers the intended results.
  • Own the monthly financial package, KPIs and commentary for our Co-CEOs, Board and investors. Identify the key performance drivers, emerging risks and opportunities, and implications for the forecast. Translate those insights into specific recommended actions and priorities for leadership, and track follow-through with department owners.
  • Support diligence, valuation, transaction modeling and post-acquisition integration. Develop reporting that scales across brands and entities, and track acquired-business performance and integration benefits.
  • Work with department leaders to develop budgets, evaluate spending, understand results and act on financial insight. Bring constructive challenge and clear recommendations to the discussion.
  • Lead a senior financial analyst in Malaysia and a part-time FP&A data specialist. Set clear deliverables, review standards and deadlines, develop their capabilities, and remain accountable for accurate, timely work.
  • Building and running AI agents is a core responsibility of this role.
  • Use Claude, Palantir AIP and other approved tools to develop agents and automated workflows for recurring reporting, analysis, forecasting and quality checks. Own the finance use case, testing, ongoing monitoring and exception handling, partnering with our Digital team on data access, integrations and deployment. Material financial conclusions will remain subject to human review.
  • Help shape our planning and reporting systems, including the Finance Reporting Hub, BI tools and an upcoming accounting platform transition.
  • During your first year, you and the CFO will agree on two or three high-impact projects, including putting at least one validated AI agent into recurring finance use.
