About The Position

Opal is currently partnering with a top employer to find a bilingual Financial Planner (CFP, French/English) to take over a well-established book of business in Ontario. This role is designed for an experienced advisor who wants to focus on managing and growing client relationships, without the pressure of building a book from scratch.

Requirements

Fully bilingual in French and English (required).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning.
CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation required.
Must be client-facing and based in Ontario.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive financial plans covering investments, retirement, tax strategies, estate planning, education funding, and insurance needs.
Meet with clients to understand their goals, assess their financial situation, and provide tailored advice.
Design and recommend investment strategies aligned with clients’ risk tolerance and long-term objectives.
Conduct regular reviews of financial plans and portfolios, adjusting for life changes, market conditions, and evolving goals.
Ensure all recommendations comply with applicable financial regulations and industry standards.
Mentor junior financial planners and advisors.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, proactive communication, and ongoing support.
