This role, formerly known as "Investment Specialist" under the Mobile Advice Team and now renamed Financial Planner within the Scotia Financial Planning team, is part of the Global Asset Management Division. The Financial Planner will focus on developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. The role requires an entrepreneurial approach, leveraging external networks and centers of influence to build new and long-term relationships. The priority is to provide investment and financial planning advice to help clients meet their unique goals. The role offers flexibility in meeting clients outside of the office on a schedule that suits both the planner and the client, while also recognizing the benefits of working within the Scotiabank framework. The Financial Planner will be responsible for driving investment sales and new client acquisition, adhering to Global Sales Principles, compliance, and regulatory requirements, and establishing business development opportunities with prospects and clients in the assigned market area.
