About The Position

Glencore Ltd, a US-based branch of Glencore AG, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glencore International AG, where it employs approximately 300 people. Glencore is a natural resource energy trading company. Our back office supports our US trading and operations staff.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in accounting, finance, accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform core settlement functionality for the trading business, reviewing and validating costs associated with payables and receivables entered by front office.
Ensure payments are executed and received in a timely fashion.
Work with internal trading desks to resolve pricing and operational discrepancies.
Assist treasury functions with timely cash application.
Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances and communicate with trading desks regarding payment status.
Prepare and reconcile overdue receivable reports for trading desks.
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assigned.
Participate in special projects impacting Finance Department.
